For every WSL  League or Tournament you enter and play, you accumulate points! There will be 3 different levels of points, Level 1 points are from Leagues, Round Robins, or any non NIT events. Level 2 points come from NIT's. Level 3 points come from State, & Regional.  For every team entered into a level 1 event, $1.00 goes into the "pot". For every team entered into a level 2 events, $2.00 goes into the "pot". For every team entered into a level 3 event, $3.00 goes into the "pot".  The highest point total team at the end the  point season, will earn a PAID BERTH to the WSL World Championships and also receive an additional $500.00 in travel cash. If the highest point team already has a paid world berth, you will get an additional $250.00 in travel cash. 2nd place and beyond in points will all receive PAID WORLD BERTHS to the WSL World Championships until all money is exhausted. If any team already has a paid berth, $250.00 in travel cash will be awarded. If we have a surplus of money and all teams have their berths paid for, the remaining money will be split into travel cash for 1st place to 3rd place. 1st place: 50%, 2nd place 30%, & 3rd place 20%.       

New for 2015 is the point system will be Nation Wide. Higher point teams get better seeding at the World Tournament. States & Regions may also adopt point system for seeding of their respective state & regional tournaments. Highest National Point teams in Men's  & Women's (awards TBA after WSL Winter Meetings in Mid December)
